A interactive image that lets you explore and understand The Garden Of Earthly Delights with text and audio to explain what each little scene is within the whole image.
This was a great resource which revealed the meanings and symbolic value in the the image by Bosch. The third panel which represents hell offers lots of different images of torture and death that can be seen in heavy metal imagery. It has become very clear that the genres use of this image may also contain meaning that may not be immediately obvious. It would be great to develop this within my own practice.
